Arbitrum has announced Trailblazer 2.0, a $1 million funding initiative aimed at supporting the development of automated DeFi agents and tools using Vibekit, an open source framework created by EmberAGI. This follows the original Trailblazer program launched last year, and shifts the focus toward agent-driven strategies and infrastructure.
Submissions can receive up to $10,000 per project, with no limit on the number of entries. Funding will prioritize agent templates, performance-focused strategies, frontend tools (such as trading history or profit/loss displays), backtesting suites, and Farcaster mini-apps.

Market Reaction
Arbitrum’s ARB token briefly rose from $0.358 to $0.372 after the announcement, but quickly stabilized. On a weekly basis, ARB remains over 8% down, and is still trading far below its December 2024 level of $1.20.

Vibekit Framework
Developed by EmberAGI, Vibekit is an open source agent framework built specifically for Arbitrum. It allows developers to build modular and composable agents capable of performing a wide range of tasks – from basic token transfers to advanced yield strategies.
The framework is integrated with protocols such as Aave, GMX, Camelot, and Pendle. Tooling partners already involved include Playgrounds, ElizaOS, Hyperbolic Labs, TrendMoon, and Allora Network. Vibekit is expected to expand in functionality through community contributions over time.

Program Objective
By supporting development around Vibekit, the Arbitrum Foundation aims to build a more automated and accessible DeFi ecosystem. The initiative encourages both protocol-level integrations and user-facing tools, with the long-term goal of reducing manual steps in DeFi activity.
The program is open-ended, with ongoing grant reviews and evolving funding priorities. Developers can submit contributions now through this form.
