In the middle of Friday’s extreme market volatility, Pi set a fresh all-time low, plunging to just $0.1585. Even though a partial recovery followed during the broader crypto rebound, the token is still down more than 11% on the day, trading around $0.204 at press time.
The move came as Bitcoin collapsed by over 10% in minutes to $105,000, triggering mass liquidations across the market. Ethereum dropped below $3,500, and XRP fell over 40% in just few minutes. The sudden crash appears to have been triggered by a new statement from President Donald Trump, who announced a 100% tariff on Chinese goods beginning November 1, and accused China of “a moral disgrace in dealing with other nations” over its planned export controls.
Another All-Time Low
Sadly, despite the current volatility, this isn’t a new pattern for Pi Network. The token has now set multiple all-time lows in recent weeks, including one just last month when it briefly fell to $0.255. Friday’s price of $0.1585 marks the lowest valuation the project has ever seen, and it happened just days after developers announced significant updates on the Testnet side of the ecosystem.
Despite those technical steps – including the rollout of DEX, AMM, and token tools – market sentiment hasn’t followed. Listings on major exchanges like Binance remain elusive, and Pi continues to face steady token unlocks that pressure the price.

What’s Next?
The Pi team has continued to push development updates and integrations. Earlier this month, Pi announced a partnership with Sign Protocol, a project backed by YZi Labs – the investment arm tied to Binance founder CZ. That raised speculation about a future listing, but nothing has materialized so far.
However, with the token now trading over 93% below its February high near $3, the market appears to be looking for more than speculation. Without new exchange listings or changes to the current unlock model, the token could remain under pressure – regardless of how much the ecosystem grows on the technical side.
