On June 3, a website promoting the “Official $TRUMP Wallet by President Trump” went live, advertising a cryptocurrency wallet branded with the U.S. president’s name. The site included a waitlist sign-up, promotional material, and a referral campaign offering $1 million in $TRUMP tokens as rewards. The project appeared to be a collaboration between the NFT platform Magic Eden, Slingshot Finance, and a company called GetTrumpMemes.com.
The wallet promises support for multiple cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, XRP, and Official Trump ($TRUMP). The interface preview and promotional statements show the app as a platform for to manage and trade digital assets.
However, shortly after the wallet was promoted, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump publicly denied any affiliation between the Trump Organization and the project. Trump Jr. stated via social media that “The Trump Organization has zero involvement with this wallet product”, and Eric Trump echoed that message, warning Magic Eden against using the Trump name without official approval.

Partnerships and affiliations
Despite the Trump family’s denial, Magic Eden has publicly confirmed its involvement in the wallet. A spokesperson told Blockworks that the company partnered with the team behind the $TRUMP token to build the wallet on top of Slingshot Finance, a trading app it acquired earlier this year. According to the website, Magic Eden partnered with GetTrumpMemes.com to create what it calls the “first and only $TRUMP Wallet.”
GetTrumpMemes.com is operated by Fight Fight Fight LLC, which is partly owned by CIC Digital LLC – a company affiliated with the Trump Organization. This corporate structure has led to speculation about whether the Trump family is indirectly connected to the project. However, no direct statement from the Trump Organization has confirmed or denied any financial or ownership ties between CIC Digital and the wallet initiative.

Conflicting narratives
While Magic Eden and the $TRUMP token team maintain that the wallet is an official product, the Trump family has repeatedly distanced itself. Donald Trump Jr. stated that their own crypto efforts are focused on World Liberty Financial, which is working on a separate platform and wallet product not yet released.
Eric Trump also warned Magic Eden publicly to “be extremely careful” using the family’s name in unauthorized projects. The Trump sons’ statements have raised questions about brand usage and permission within crypto projects that use well-known figures in their marketing.
Magic Eden representatives have stood by their public statements and clarified that the company’s social media accounts were not compromised. The TrumpMeme X account, linked to the $TRUMP token team, has also shared promotional material related to the wallet, reinforcing its position that the product is authentic.
What’s Next?
The Trump family continues to focus on its separate crypto platform through World Liberty Financial, which includes a stablecoin project known as USD1. That platform has also not launched publicly but has been promoted as an officially sanctioned Trump initiative.
Meanwhile, the $TRUMP wallet continues to accept sign-ups and is promoted by the $TRUMP memecoin team and Magic Eden, despite the Trump Organization’s denial of involvement. The contrast between public endorsements and family statements has created a situation that remains unclear, with questions still unresolved about official backing and brand ownership.
