Solana Mobile has officially begun shipping its Seeker devices, fulfilling over 150,000 preorders across more than 50 countries. The company announced that shipments will roll out in waves throughout August due to global logistics and certification processes.
Buyers who placed early orders are advised to confirm their shipping details on the official website to avoid delays. Customers who haven’t completed their order can still do so while supplies last.
Web3 Integration and Hardware Features
The Seeker phone is designed specifically for interacting with Web3 applications. It features Seed Vault, a hardware-level secure signing system that stores private keys and enables direct transaction approval without exposing sensitive data to the operating system.
The Solana dApp Store comes pre-installed with over 100 decentralized applications. The store will expand further during “Seeker Season”, a campaign beginning in September that will introduce new dApps offering rewards, early access, and other incentives exclusive to Seeker users.
Developer and Ecosystem Support
Solana Mobile has made Seeker a key component of its broader mobile ecosystem. Developers are encouraged to build mobile-native dApps, with the first wave of Seeker users expected to provide an early user base. Tools such as on-chain verification, tamper-resistant hardware proofs, and SKR token integration support app authentication and user incentives.
The SKR token serves as the native asset of the Solana Mobile platform, powering access, rewards, and governance features across the ecosystem.
